1. School Overview

- Shijiazhuang University of Economics (SUE) was established in 1953 from the former Xuanhua Geology School.
- It developed into Hebei University of Geology under the Ministry of Land and Resources of China.
- SUE is a multidisciplinary university with its main focus on geology, economics and management.
- SUE has 20 faculties and teaching units, 8 scientific research institutes and 3 Provincial and National Experimental Teaching Demonstrating Centers, offering 52 bachelor degree programs and 18 master degree programs, which have covered the 5 categories of discipline from engineering, science, economics, management to arts.
- SUE has a Geoscience Museum and a Monetary & Financial Museum, the only one school with two museums in Hebei colleges and universities, and the Geoscience Museum is a popular science education base and quality education base at national, provincial, and municipal level.
- SUE has been dedicated to wide international exchange and cooperation and so far established long-term partnership with more than 20 world prestigious universities and research institutes.

2. School Museums
Editor Notes: SUE is the only one school with two museums in Hebei colleges and universities.
2.1 Geo-science Museum
- This museum is mainly used for teaching and research and is well-known for a large quantity of valuable mineral samples, paleontologic fossils and gems.
- The Unusual North China Dinosaur Fossil (20m long, 7.5m high), which was discovered, excavated, mended and exhibited by SUE teachers and students over 20 years, is most extraordinary.
2.2 Monetary & Financial Museum
- This museum is the first museum of its kind in the colleges and universities of Hebei Province, featuring currency, measuring systems, calculators and banking notes.
- Actively serving teaching, research and society.
- Offering teaching-and-learning samples and conditions for students majoring in finance, accounting, economics and art design.
- Popularizing currency and finance knowledge.
- Promoting the fine tradition of the Chinese culture.
- Ccarrying out domestic and international academic exchange.

3. Fees

- This scholarship is only open to international students who have learned for more than 1 year in this university.
- The scholarship is not applicable to exchange students.
